All-District Auditions are coming up on Saturday, November 3rd. All-Districts is a great opportunity for 7th and 8th grade choir students to prepare a song and perform it in front of judges to get feedback. This is not a required event and will not affect the student’s choir grade. The students with the highest score from the audition will be picked to perform with a choir. The concert will be March 2, 2019 at Liberty Christian Academy. “Shenandoah” is the chosen song this year and we have been working on this song in class. I want to work with students interested in going to All-Districts to
ensure that they are well prepared and give them some constructive criticism. Recordings of the song are on the choir website and students are expected to be practicing at home. The auditions will take place at Lord Botetourt High School with transportation provided. To participate in All-Districts costs $8 per student. If your child would like to participate, the $8 needs to be turned in by Monday, October 8th. More details about the auditions will come in late October.
